We could not be more excited to introduce the very first Pura collaboration! And, the fact that it’s with Becki Owens makes it so. much. better! Partnering with her to create these fragrances has been such a fun journey for us, and it’s shown us just how important fragrance is for home design!
We are diving into the details of her partnership, the inspiration behind the scents, and how to incorporate home fragrance into interior design!
To help you 'fall into home' this season, we reached out to Becki Owens (our very first Pura collaboration) and asked her all of our questions about fall; how does she like to celebrate this time of year? What fragrances feel the coziest to her? And, what are her tips on decorating your home for the season?

I love the weather getting cooler, my kid’s games with a crispness in the air, and fall fashion. I love to pull out my fall sweaters and boots. It’s my favorite season to get dressed all year.
How your home smells plays a massive part in the overall look and feel of the house. We have been following Becki’s inspiration for a long time, and were so inspired by what she does and who she is, and knew it would be an amazing addition to our fragrance marketplace.
One of the biggest elements of Pura is how scents can make you feel and remember the moments in your homes with the people you care about most. This goes perfectly with interior design and how scent ties in the feeling of your space, while also helping people to remember what they experienced while they were there.
Fall scents, stems, pumpkins on the porch, warm earth tones in decorative accents like pillows on the couch or a new runner in the hallway.
I love cloves, pumpkin, cinnamon, and vanilla. Scents that remind me of cooking and gathering with friends and family.
Becki uses scent strategically to help people feel welcome and comfortable in her homes. When a scent is inviting, warm, and memorable, people are more likely to be happier and remember their experience in the home. She was so excited to partner with Pura to give people the option to scent their homes in a way that is easy, clean, and expresses who they are.
Becki loves the aspect of being able to control scent easier and conform it to the needs of the user. “Being able to control scent from anywhere is such a great development,” she says. “I love the product and the brand, and I really admire how they run their business and have created these products.”
Homemade bread and yummy soup - potato corn chowder. My kids are busy with sports. My oldest daughter plays soccer and I love having something warm for her to eat when she walks in the door. Soup and homemade bread are so comforting and always hit the spot. Then we get to talk and catch up on our day which is the best part.
Gingersnaps - I like to make them with my younger daughter but my whole family loves how the smell takes over the house.
I can’t think of a better way to make your home feel like fall than spicy warm scents. Smells help cement memories and evoke emotions. We spend more time in our homes than ever and smells really have an impact on how cozy and inviting they feel.

We love to watch movies and play games as a family. With that in mind, I always have cozy blankets available for them to cuddle up in. I love giving slippers as fun gifts for my kids. We are definitely a family that loves the little comforts of home so it’s fun to bake, and set aside moments to spend time together.
You can always update your spaces with a unique vintage-style rug. Adding one to the hallway or entry is a great way to prep for visiting guests. I also love to layer pumpkins by the front door in several mixed colors. It’s always fun to swap out a few pillows and incorporate warm or wheat tones. Fur throws are always a win both for decor and comfort.

I like to decorate with fall florals and stems. I switch out spring and summer more colorful florals for the natural tones in grasses like pampas grass or branches. These make a gorgeous statement and instantly update your home for fall.
Visiting a pumpkin patch with my kids when they were little. They would always pick out their favorite pumpkin and we would sip apple cider together. The colors and smells of this memory always invite fall back in.
When most people think about interior design, they just think about how something looks. But the really good designers, ahem, Becki Owens, know that it’s really about how a place feels. You can’t fully complete the design of a home without incorporating one of your most important senses: smell!

I like to consider who is visiting my home or spending time in my home when deciding on a home scent. My kids love to bake with me during the fall season. One of our favorite traditions is to make a family toffee recipe for our neighbors. It’s fun to make my home feel more festive with warm scents or scents that smell yummy during this time because we spend a lot of time together in the kitchen or gathering at the dining table. Fall scents can feel festive this way. So when I’m entertaining I love to bring in scents with vanilla or spice.
