Should You Rent, Own, or Rent-to-Own?

The best thing to do in any situation with multiple options is to arm yourself with information, so that you can feel confident you’re making the right choice. With that in mind, let’s look at your options for getting a Pura water solution into your home!

The Flexibility of Renting

As frustrating as it can be when you don’t feel your water is at its best, we get that going all-in on a solution can be a little intimidating. Maybe the up-front costs are out of your budget, or maybe the home you’re in now isn’t your long-term plan. To make sure that you can still take advantage of a Pura water softener, water refiner, reverse osmosis system, or filtration system no matter what, we’ve made our unique rental option available.

With a rental, you get all the benefits of better water without the larger up-front costs, long-term commitment, and ongoing service and repair costs. 

Here are some of the perks of rental:

  • Smaller equal payments can make budgeting simple. Instead of paying the full cost of your Pura solution up-front, you’ll be making manageable payments every month, with no stressing about unexpected costs.   
  • We’ll professionally install your Pura product so you don’t have to try to DIY it, and you don’t pay until you’re enjoying great water in your home.. 
  • If your Pura product isn’t working properly at any point during your rental, we’ll take care of the service costs for both parts and labor. We’ll get your product back up and running, and you won’t have to worry about a thing.
  • If you decide to move while you are renting a Pura product, you can arrange for us to remove the product and reinstall it in your new home.

Here’s how the rental process works:

  • Prior to installation, you’ll be provided with a rental agreement for 24 months.
  • Once you’ve reviewed the agreement, you’ll be quoted an installation cost based on your service area, and your Pura product will be professionally installed by one of our expert service providers. 
  • After the initial 24-month period, your rental agreement will continue on a month-to-month basis, with no interruption in payments or service. 
  • If you decide to end your rental, you just need to give us a 30 day heads up. We’ll cancel your rental, and arrange for your Pura product to be removed.
  • While you’re renting, you’ll need to cover costs for normal “expendable” components of the product, such as filters, membranes, salt, etc. Any service costs will always be on us!

The Sweet Spot of Rent-to-Own

Sometimes a good old-fashioned compromise is where it’s at! With this option, you get some of the perks of rental for the first while, but will own your Pura product in the end.

Here are some of the perks of rent-to-own:

  • You’ll get to own your Pura product outright, without having to cover the full cost up-front. 
  • You can choose to make rental payments for up to six months before buying out the rest of the cost, or you can complete your buyout at any point before six months is up.
  • As always, we’ll professionally install your Pura product in your home, and you won’t pay anything until it’s up and running.
  • Over your rental period of up to six months, we’ll take care of any service costs, both parts and labor. 
  • When you complete your buyout, you’ll now own your Pura product! We’ll even renew the manufacturer’s warranty on the date of your rent-to-own purchase.

Here’s how the rental process works:

  • You’ll be provided with a rental agreement and quoted an installation cost. 
  • Once you’ve reviewed the agreement, your Pura product will be professionally installed by one of our expert service providers. 
  • You can buy-out your Pura product at any time during the first six months of your rental agreement. Your equal monthly rental payments made so far will be applied towards the purchase price of your unit.
  • While you’re renting, you’ll need to cover costs for normal “expendable” components of the product, such as filters, membranes, salt, etc. Any service costs will always be on us!
  • At the time of your buy-out, your manufacturer’s warranty will be reset, and your Pura product will officially belong to you. Congrats!

For some, a straight-forward purchase is still the way to go. If you decide to purchase a Pura product for your home outright, it’s as easy as booking your installation, then letting us take care of getting you up and running.

  • We’ll still take care of installation – a professional and highly trained service provider will get your product set up in your home, and you don’t pay a cent until it’s working!
